Nemours is seeking a Division Chief - Hospitalist to join our team in Woodbury, New Jersey at Inspira/Underwood Hospital.

To keep pace with the changing health care environment and build a healthier future for our children, Nemours has embarked on a multi-phase expansion to create a ch! ildren's hospital like no other in the region. Upon completion! in June 2014, the hospital will include private patient rooms, a new Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and a new expanded Emergency Department.
Position Description: Pediatric Hospitalist
Delivery of medical care to inpatient pediatric patients, age newborn to 18 years.
Assessment and treatment of pediatric patients from newborns through 18 years of age in the Emergency Department, upon request of local physicians and Emergency Department staff.
Regular attendance at Pediatric Departmental meetings and general medical staff meetings as required by hospital and departmental bylaws.
Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date medical records and summaries as required by hospital and department bylaws.
Participation in quality improvement, service improvement and leadership activities, including patient satisfaction and safety initiatives, risk management and peer review activities.
Participation in teaching activit! ies with residents, medical students, nursing staff and others as opportunities arise.
Maintenance of board certification as required by employers.
Leadership Qualities:
Interest and abilities in team leadership including:
Supervision of all physicians on the team.
Provision of constructive feedback on performance.
Attendance at Nemours leadership training.
Coordination with other New Jersey physician leaders.
The position is open to individuals who are Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics. Leadership experience required
