To all recruitment agencies: Bayer does not accept unsolicited third party resumes. The primary responsibility of this role, as Medical Advisor, Eylea, is to set Strategic Direction and Support of WAMD and other key indications (CRVO and DME) in Latin America.
The! incumbent will:
- Lead and coordinate internal medical ! teams to plan activities and communication strategies aimed to consolidate Eylea for the treatment of neo-vascular retinal diseases;
- Support activities to enhance awareness of retinal neovascular diseases among physicians, medical societies and general population in order to increase the diagnosis and opportune treatment of neovascular retinal diseases;
- Represent Latin American countries in global medical forums and meetings
- Promote and coordinate the participation of Latin American countries in global trials;
- Support initiatives in the countries to perform Latin American NIS and ISS
- Medical Information Training and certification of internal teams, considering business needs;
- Medical review of all internal & external scientific documents related to Eylea like publications, promotional materials, press releases, monographs, internet contents, CCDS as well as medical input to internal linked departments with key activities! for the business;
- Provide ethical, reliable medical information requested by internal or external parts;
- Design of medical content for regional scientific events;
- Managing KOL and External Relationships;
- Ensure that planned activities are in line with the needs and expectations of retina doctors and their patients, considering business needs within the framework of compliance standards;
- Lead activities with KOL for regional events;
- Ensuring Compliance and act as a role model, demonstrating consistent ethical and professional behavior;
- Ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external policies.
- Medical Doctor with training in Ophthalmology (desirable) or Internal Medicine / Geriatrician / Immunologist;
- Fluency in Spanish and English;
- 4-5 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Industry and at least! 3 years involved in regional activities coordinating work teams. !
