Premier Research is seeking a Clinical Research Physician in Trenton, NJ.
The physician will be involved in clinical research studies and work with the Study Coordinators to perform required procedures of studies conducted on behalf of sponsors.
Prefer board certified internist who can commit to one to two days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Be involved in all the steps of the research studies according to the protocol.
- Evaluate subjects for participation in clinical research studies (inclusion/exclusion criteria verification, adverse events, laboratory data monitoring and validation, ECG, etc.) and provide technical and scientific support to Study Coordinators.
- Validate the inclusion/exclusion criteria, perform physical examinations required by the protocol, administer the study drug, manage the medical events and particularly the adverse events and concomitant medications, and validate end of study visits.
- Approve the medical parameters (safety labs, ECG, BP, etc.) measured during the study according to the protocol.
- Answer all medical questions raised during the monitoring visits.
Job Requirements:
- M.D. or D.O
- U.S. Board Certified with active New Jersey Medical License
- Excellent communications skills with the ability to interact with Sub-Investigators, Study Coordinators and Sponsor personnel.
