Atlantic Health System is on the forefront of medicine, setting standards for quality healthcare in New Jersey and beyond. We are currently seeking a Medical Director for our Center for Advanced Medicine (CAM) including our Internal Medicine Faculty Practice/Residency Clinic.
This position has clinical, teaching, and administrative responsibilities which include oversight of clinical practice operations, providing primary care to a diverse patient population, and teaching both medical students and residents. The ideal candidate will be a board certified academic general internist with minimum 4 years progressive clinical leadership experience, strong understanding of Internal Medicine residency training requirements, and experience in developing and implementing quality improvement and practice management initiatives. GIM fellowship training preferred. Must possess excellent clinical and communications skills, c! ommitment towards our multicultural, underserved patient popul! ation, and a strong interest in teaching. Ability to collaborate and work in a multidisciplinary team environment is required.
