- Outstanding opportunity for a BC/BE Inte! rnist to join 14-hospitalists and 2-nocturnists in a very stable practice. Hospitalist provides direct patient care in the hospital setting including: assessment, screening, diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Specific duties will include: Examine, diagnose, and treat patients in the hospital setting; complete medical charts after each visit and submit charges in a timely manner consistent with department and entity policy; provide routine medical management of patient care including ordering of diagnostic test, labs, x-rays, EKGs and medications, etc.
- Physician assumes quality of care for all patients with conduct consistent with the interests and safety of all patients and employees; and serve as supervisory physician for the mid-level provider regarding clinical issues and State regulatory requirements when assigned.
- Requirements: Medical Degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent with passage of test/certificates issued); residency and fellowship/int! ernship in Internal Medicine. Must have or acquire a current I! L State License as Physician/Surgeon and State and Federal Controlled Substance Licenses
