Internist - Physician - (Internal Medicine) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 09/02/2013Available Shift! s: 8 Hour/Day
Board Eligible or Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Practice Provider needed in a Northern New Jersey outpatient clinic starting in September. This Job opportunity offers a full time 40 hour work weeks with no call. The provider must be well-versed in a Primary Care outpatient setting.
Internal medicine (locum tenens) is a branch of medicine characterized by an emphasis on treating the whole body, rather than specialized focus on one body part of system. Many people use internists as their first point of medical contact, and in this way these physicians function similarly to primary care doctors. Internists are trained to treat and diagnose a wide range of illnesses that affect the entirety of the biological system. When an illness proves to be advancing, exotic or complex, internists will usually refer their patients to specialists.
Required Qualifications
NJ licensed Internal Medicine or Family Practice Provider neede! d 09/02 - Ongoing. Schedule: Mon - Fri: 7:30a-5:30p, No call. ! Type of Patients seen: 100% Adult Male & Female, 15-20ppd, and 100% of the patient base are scheduled. There will be 80% clinical & 20% Administrative. Typical Case Seen: Sick visits, female exams, Hypertension, Diabetics, physicals, and chronic illnesses. EMR Charting
