Due to expansion, our organization, Specialized Therapy Associates, LLC is seeking two physicians, one as a Internist or General Family Practice doctor and a New Jersey licensed physician with Board Certification as a Psychiatrist to provide medication management and/or therapy to our population of higher functioning, low risk clients. STA is seeking a consulting physician in internal medicine to provide services on a consulting basis. The right candidate will enjoy working as a part of a team of existing psychiatrists and highly experienced team of p! rofessional psychologists and therapists. You are able to set ! your own hours and work from one or more of your desired locations in our Hackensack, Ramsey, Short Hills or Fort Lee locations. You will receive a competitive hourly wage and have all ancillary services provided that includes billing, administrative and other functions with a highly trained support staff.
- Staff Psychiatrist: Board Certified and able to provide medication management to our clients receiving psychotherapy services from our very experienced clinical staff.
- Staff Psychiatrist: Board Certified in Child and Adult Psychiatry to provide medication management to our clients receiving psychotherapy services from our very experienced clinical staff.
- Consulting Physician: Board Certified in Internal Medicine with a specialty in Wellness and Prevention to provide services directly to our clients in the comfort of your own office and/or provide educational seminars and consulting services to our corporate clients.
Our organization,! STA, provides psychiatric services and our sister organization, Life Work Strategies provides consulting and wellness services.
Our organization provides low intensive outpatient individual, group, family and couples psychotherapy services (long-term and short-term) directly to the community with six locations in Fort Lee, Ramsey, Riveredge, Short Hills and Hackensack, NJ and in Spring Valley, NY. STA provides psycho-educational workshops and custom designed programs. STA is well recognized for its child and family services. Bilingual skills are not required but bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
REQUIREMENTS/DUTIES
- Minimum 3 years experience working with high functioning population
- Applicant must have a career orientation towards private practice
- License to practice in the State of New Jersey or New York (or easily transferred from another State)
- Be able to participate in a healthy and supportive team environment
- Able to work evenings; work schedule can be flexible but must incl! ude some evening or weekend hours
