Nexgen Janitorial needs positive, dependable, and reliable cleaners to join our team. We have competitive wages, flexible hours, and some great places to work. There is also opportunity for increased hours and weekday evening shifts.
Cleaner Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around office buildings.
- Clean floors, including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows.
- Clean restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals.
- Vacuum, empty trash, and replace liners.
- Inventory counts, stock shelves, and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Monitor and maintain sanitation and organization of assigned areas.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
This position would require the applicant to clean at varied locations and a vehicle would be needed. There are currently four locations, all within a 20km radius, that need to be cleaned.
Cleaner Qualifications / Skills:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Must also be able to work unsupervised.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Previous cleaning experience a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Valid criminal record check
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 5-10 per week
Salary: $18.00 per hour
