Sales Assistant - Jewellery Store
We are a prestigious jewellery store, specialising in exquisite diamond and precious stone jewellery. We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Assistant to join our team. If you have a passion for jewellery, excellent customer service skills, and a desire to succeed, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers and assisting them with their needs and inquiries
- Displaying and recommending jewellery products to customers
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the store
- Operating point-of-sale systems and handling cash transactions
- Building and maintaining positive customer relationships
- Assisting with store inventory and restocking as needed
- Providing excellent customer service and resolving customer complaints
- Participating in store meetings and trainings
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in a sales environment
- Passion for jewellery and fashion
- Ability to work 25-30 hours, including Saturday mornings.
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of point-of-sale systems
