Seeking Social Media Intern for Non-Profit "The Social Piece"
Are you a self-starter? Are you passionate about social equity and making a difference in the lives of children with disabilities? The Social Piece is a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing the behavioral needs of these children.
We are seeking a creative and motivated social media intern to help us expand our reach and engage with our community. You will be responsible for developing social media strategies, creating content, and managing our social media platforms. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience while contributing to a meaningful cause.
Qualifications:

College level
- Experience in social media management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of social media trends and best practices
- Passion for social equity and working with children with disabilities

Primary Duties/Responsibilities
This is a remote internship position
- Understand the overall concept of The Social Piece, including the brand, clients, goals, and all other aspects of service
- Follow directions of a marketing plan (2 posts a week)
- Demonstrate leadership and teamwork skills
- Manage and monitor The Social Piece’s social media accounts
- Create and implement monthly marketing/social media calendars
- Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns
- Create and distribute content such as blogs, videos, infographics, pictures, promotions, etc.
- Engage with relevant clients and brands on social media within 1 day
- Demonstrate appropriate company behavior on social media accounts
- Attend all appropriate meetings, including marketing, social media, and staff meetings
- Report all questions and concerns to the administrator
