The HR Services team in Poland is providing a range of transactional and non-transactional HR services across countries and all business units.

Job Purpose:
The HR Services Team Leader (based in Warsaw, Poland) will lead the delivery of HR services, products and systems in a shared-services environment and will focus on improving service delivery quality by streamlining processes and services as well as continuously driving efficiency. The Digitalization of our services (user friendly systems and tools) play a significant role to become successful.
Your main tasks will be:
Influence others across Deutsche Post DHL and externally as an internally and externally recognized thought leader representing the Group.- Managing service delivery team in Poland and work with passion on an inclusive team culture where people are recognized for their contribution; and demonstrate a willingness to support and cover for other team members.
- Ensure payroll processing activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of payroll.
- Develop, recommend and implement standard operating procedures, process improvements, and internal controls
- Trusted Partner within our business (our clients) to develop a strategy and process that will enable the business
- Understand the main drivers, dynamics, and direction of the Business Divisions.
- Ensure Service Level Agreements are agreed and client invoicing is undertaken in accordance with contract terms and timescales.
- Act as a point of referral for escalation of client issues.
- Ensure regular service/performance reviews are performed with the client at all levels.
- Create, manage, and maintain the strategic and operational relationship with the business Unit HR leaders.
- Ensure that the team is managing clients in a compliant manner, managing, and controlling audit and quality processes.
- Identify and drive new products, process improvements & business opportunities for the Divisions.
- Constantly recognize opportunities for improving profitability in partnership and influencing way.
- Drive performance, quality of service, cost of delivery, and compliance by providing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators on all aspects of the services.
- Ensure the business is properly controlled in terms of financial reporting and risk management.
- Guarantee all work is compliant with internal and external audit requirements and complies with legislative requirements.
- Responsible for achieving our profit and loss (P&L) targets (requirements related to the budgets, forecasts, revenues, costs, and expenses).
Management Responsibility:
Manages the shared service-center in Poland (3-5 direct reports)
Your profile should look like:
Relevant Bachelor’s or University Degree in Finance, HR, Digital or Business management.- At least 5 years of working experience ideally in a Shared Services or equivalent of an international company.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Polish.
- Experience with team leadership of a large size team; Leads with Guts, Heart & Head & a welcoming team spirit.
- Extensive service and operational leadership experience are essential.
- Experience effectively managing senior level business (HR) clients.
- A clear vision on digitalization in a HR Shared Services environment and how to implement this (not only Shared Services processes, but full end to end HR processes).
- Experience within a logistic B2B environment.
- Exposure to Payroll, HR Operations or a related service ideal.
- A strong commercial focus with the proven ability to achieve challenging performance targets.
- Ability to engage with employees and internal/external stakeholders across all levels.
- Ability to deal with competing conflicts, improve quality and reduce costs.
- Skills in stakeholder management on all levels of decision-makers.
- Analytical skills and capacity for conceptual thinking, and the ability to think and act with a cross-organizational and cross-process approach.
- Experience in the area of Business Process Optimization, including documentation, analysis and improvement.
- Excellent moderation, facilitation and conflict resolution skills, combined with communication and negotiation skills.
- Prior budget management experience.
